Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) with support of UN-HABITAT Water for Asian Cities (WAC) Programme Nepal have drafted the Nepal's first Urban Environmental Management Guideline. In the lack of proper strategy the country is facing the degradation in its urban environment since last few decades. The guideline has been designed to systematize urban infrastructural development and minimize environmental pollution in the urban zone.
